“A unique tale of friendship with a cheesy, nostalgic, 80s horror movie feel (although it was more horror comedy than horror) 👻 I did really struggle to get into this book, and I’m not 100% sure I ever did… perhaps it would be more suited to a young adult audience? I did however LOVE the cover and design, which matched the cheesy, playful vibe of the book. I also loved the chapter titles linking to 80s hits - small details 👌”

“Can you say a horror demonic book was fun?
Full of 80s nostalgia, girlhood, parents who just don’t understand you, and idyllic Charleston as our background- it was very reminiscent of stranger things, except all your friends actually suck.
With a private school setting, our main characters, Gretchen and Abby are smart, hot and the best of friends. They stick together through thick and thin- even when one friend might actually be possessed.
There’s tons of reviews, but if you’re looking for a quick read before Halloween, I’d totally grab this one.”
