“When I got the book, the person who I purchased it from said that after they read it, they planned a whole trip to go explore Japan, and I took that to heart. As I got deeper into the book, I understood why they said that. I found the plot to be light and refreshing and just the kind of story I was needing to read after having last finished a story that was much more dark and somber than this.
I enjoyed following Elle in her journey exploring her new home in Tokyo, and it almost takes me back to how it felt to be a teenager trying to find her place in school, especially after experiencing the hardships mentioned early on in the novel. I’m incredibly satisfied with the way that this book ended.”
