But when she starts to crush on a boy named Ryuu, who's frozen out by the Brats and despised by her new family, her already tenuous living situation just might implode.

“A very good and interesting book on a girl learning about what its like to be a part of a family, finding that inner strength of self. This girl Elle goes to ICS school in Tokyo and tries her best to fit in with the popular crowd. Imogen shows her around ICS school and then is not friends with her anymore. Elle has a new boyfriend and her father does not like him. Her Father Kenjii thinks it is not a good idea to live in Tokyo. It was really cool to see that her family wanted her to take some Japanese lessons and learn the language.”
