“reread. the most heartbreakingly beautiful integration of two narratives, the other one belonging to someone who was wronged and turned hostile. so, so beautiful and tragic. i weep.”
“Great second instalment from Strange The Dreamer. A fantasy with great creativity and imagination. It was nice to get some backstory to book 1, some characters were still very fun and charming and the storyline had a as a bundle of nerves at times. The writing is well put together and very gorgeous. However some parts did feel a little repetitive and some parts in the middle felt dragged out a bit. In the end I think I prefers the first book a little better. Overall a rely good duology, well worth the read if you’re looking for a bit of a softer, dreamy fantasy setting.”
