Murder Wears a Veil
ByPublisher Description
Jo and her family are in Hawaii for a dream vacation. Things deteriorate when a family friend dies and Jo later witnesses what appears to be a murder. She keeps the details of the crime to herself and doesn't notify the police before leaving the islands.
Realizing she could be subpoenaed back to Hawaii for a trial, she does all she can to solve the murder from her home in Ohio. Unfortunately, her efforts are hindered by Addison Chambers. Aunt Addie is in town for a bridal shower, and Jo has begrudgingly volunteered to show her around for a few days. Of course, it doesn't help that Mama and Aunt Addie can't stop arguing.
Murder Wears a Veil is a humorous mystery, and this time, it's Aunt Addie's fault.

About Maddie Cochere
In the '80s, Maddie worked for a weight loss company by day and played racquetball by night. She used her experiences from weight loss centers and playing racquetball as inspiration for Susan Hunter in her Susan Hunter Mysteries.
The family of Jo Ravens in the Two Sisters and a Journalist series resembles Maddie's family in many ways. Her eighty-five-year-old mother still laughs when a whoopee cushion makes a loud appearance at family gatherings.
Maddie resides in Ohio with her husband and a spoiled beagle.
