“I really enjoyed this! Chrissy and Lord Edgington were a fun pair to follow, and I liked seeing the mystery through Chrissy’s eyes. The cast was full of eccentric personalities without ever becoming hard to keep track of, and Todd was a particular favourite.
I had an inkling about the culprit, but I never quite worked out how everything fitted together, so I was happy with the reveal. The pacing kept me turning the pages, and while calling a murder mystery “fun” might sound odd, that’s exactly how I felt about this one. As my first Lord Edgington mystery, it definitely made me want to pick up the next book in the series.”
