“Another crazy story about Monk following someone on a trip? Kinda boring. Dr. Kroager would have expected it after he went to Hawaii, and would have a backup plan.
The author seems to really over exaggerate, even for Monk. Monk would never go to Germany even if he was following his shrink. His fear of change and flying would be too great, the debilitating fear effecting his life is why he has an assistant and a shrink.
Also, German police would NEVER allow a random American civilian to work with them on a murder. Especially when they thought it was a suicide and natural causes.
Having the murder have 6 fingers was a great added twist to link Trudy for Monk to think it was the same person.”
