Moonrise and Memories

By Navaneel Kar
Moonrise and Memories by Navaneel Kar digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

Moonrise and Memories is an eclectic collection of contemporary poetry covering themes like Love, Life, Nature and Mindfulness. The poems are observational in nature and are deeply rooted in the poet's sensitivity towards Life and all things beautiful. The poems are at times reflective, at times romantic, and at times a paean to the suffering. Most of the poems are written in free verse, though sometimes dabbling in rhyme, and are easy to read and understand.

On deeper introspection, the poems also carry the imprint of Mindfulness and Self discovery. Moonrise and Memories urges the reader to take a stop in his/her busy life and watch the beauty of the rising moon, or the magic of falling rain. Its a companion on Moonlit nights as much as it is on a lazy winter morning over a cup of tea.

Moonrise and Memories wishes to be a book on the reader's shelf which they can read again and again, like an old friend, telling stories which are at times, one's own or sometimes an inspiration.

Slightly Smiling Face“A beautiful collection of poems.”
“Moonrise and Memories is a collection of some long and some short poems. The poems are very much relatable towards my feeling in current timing, that’s why I feel all the poems and after reading certain poems I was incredibly overwhelmed by the imagination of the author. Beautiful rhymes founded on the subject’s like life, affection, relationship, Mother Nature, and time. The verses are observational in environment and are intensely deep-rooted in the writer's understanding in the direction of Life and altogether belongings attractively. If you dear intuitive quotes, you will adore this verse book. It's a volume I appreciate selection up to boost my frame of mind. The writing style of the author is good it's written in a very meaningful manner & author nicely portrayed her ideas & thoughts on paper. The verbal cast-off in the volume is relatively remarkable. Each term is cast-off in the book are selected to uphold the melody & feeling of all poems unbroken. There are certain verses which are loved by me, one of those are A Song from Faraway and Year End Musings.”
“There are so many poems in this book that are just so beautiful! Moonrise and Memories, just like the title is a collection of poems that relates the nature with feelings of love, solitude, longing and such. It touches the reader's soul with the soul motive to make them turn the pages and continue reading when the words drown us in a a dreamy land of words and nature! The book takes the readers in the green nature and helps us face our emotions by depicting nature at its truest form, of raw and beauty. Growing apart is one of my favourite poems from this collection.. "Our conversations,/Have run dry./There is nothing,/ More to say,..." From : Onward, some lines that touched me, "The best thing.../ Solitude is a teacher,/ Like no other./ Friends not always,/ What they seem." I would recommend this to everyone who have a interest in poetry.. this book really is beautiful and solemn and there's a sense of tranquility in the pages.”
