Monsters on a Train
By Vered Ehsani & Cynthia KerichPublisher Description
Scooby-Doo meets Jumanji in Kenya
Middle school students Ava, Sawyer, Jasmine and Wes have nothing in common apart from a boring group assignment and a looming deadline. So when they receive a mysterious invitation to play a new, cutting-edge VR game, they're happy for any excuse to ditch the homework. All they have to do is enter the Realm… and survive.
Once inside, they're trapped in a world of adventure and intrigue. The graphics are astonishingly realistic, and so are the dangers. The four players must travel across an African savanna plagued by Steampunk monsters. The mission: solve a riddle and save the Realm before the monsters destroy everything.
But there's more at stake than having fun, collecting treasure, defeating monsters, or taking selfies with the wildlife. Progress requires qualities far beyond just gaming skills. Will the players find the tools and gems to discover the truth, or will they be lost forever inside the Realm?

About Vered Ehsani
I've been a storyteller and content creator since I could hold pen to paper, which is a lot longer than I care to admit. I live in Kenya with my family and other amusing animals. The monkeys in my backyard inspire me to create fun, upbeat, inspiring adventures with a supernatural twist. I'm a visual artist based in Nairobi. My work is an outlet of how I view the world and lets me explore myself and everything that comes with being a human. I do not limit myself to one concept, style or medium because ideas change and so does the source of inspiration - what I see, hear, feel, touch or taste. Each piece is it's own be it a painting, illustration or weave design. It is up to the audience to interpret it as they wish.
