A marriage of convenience is exactly what Nellie wants, since she's been wounded by love before and doesn't plan to risk her heart again. “4 stars
I really enjoyed the characters in this story. Each family member had a very distinct personality. I appreciated that even though they all endured loss, it was nice to see that each dealt with with it in a different way. It was darker than what I had thought going into it. Although at times it was a difficult read , it was also a very heartfelt read. I only wished that some of the townspeople would’ve been more interjected into the storyline before the ending. It made the ending feel a little too quickly put together.”
