King Aristides de Valle y Montero of Santanger is engaged with Crown Princess Laia Saint Roman of Isla’Rosa. Laia refuses to marry Ari, so she flees from it. But when Ari founds her, her yet to be announced half-sister and Lady-in-waiting Maddi Smith urges Laia to run away while she distracts Ari, pretending to be Laia—they’re so alike they could be mistaken as twins.
I really liked Maddi and Ari. They’re the match for each other’s shoes. And their romance grows at a good pace, making it credible. Not to mention their hot chemistry is off the charts!
Ms. Green did an amazing job writing this book. I’m a bit disappointed because I REALLY wanted a more explicit epilogue for this romance. Damn, I wanted AN EPILOGUE, PERIOD! Besides that, this is an enjoyable read for those moments you need to just relax.”
