Mila's Shift

Nothing's as Deadly as a Secret…

Mila's dream of being a pilot was ripped away from her the moment she shifted for the first time, leaving her only two options: the shifter camps or going on the run.

She chose the latter.

Then ten years later, her best friend is killed right before her eyes, and making either the best or worst decision of her life, she decides to steal her friend's identity so at least one of them can live their dream.

Both terrified and grieving, she steps into her new life as an NSS pilot.  But when the captain starts giving her a little too much attention, she's convinced he can see right through her, to her deepest, darkest secrets. 

Conversely, her new friend is convinced the captain's attracted to her, but she finds that hard to believe. 

So when an assassin sets his sights on Mila, can she trust in the captain's feelings for her, or will she be in for the fight of her life… alone?

Mila's Shift is a low heat Military Sci-Fi Romance, involving shape-shifters, an "unattainable love interest," conspiracy, and lots of action.
