“I thought the premise was very interesting at first. However, it got really confusing for most of the book, and I got irritated with the slow pacing. I hated all the back and forth between the past and the present day, especially because it didn’t seem like they added anything of value to the whole “what happened to Billy.” 3.5 ⭐️, bc I did enjoy the mystery of it all, for the most part.”

“Very predictable, very shockingly sweet final chapter though. If you were to pick this up at a library, I’d tell you to check it out, if you were to pick it up at a Barnes & Noble, I might hesitate. I liked it though. Look both ways before you cross the road.”
