Publisher Description

Wraith Squadron soars back into action, on a full-throttle mission to match wits and weapons with an Imperial General gone rogue.

Wraith Squadron: The elite X-wing unit of rogues and misfits who became legends of the Rebellion, specializing in carrying out the most dangerous and daring operations before breaking up and going their separate ways. Now, three decades later, their singular skills are back in demand for a tailor-made Wraith Squadron mission.

A powerful general in the Galactic Alliance Army, once renowned for his valor, is suspected of participating in a conspiracy that nearly succeeded in toppling the Alliance back into the merciless hands of the Empire. With orders to expose and apprehend the traitor—and license to do so by any and all means—the Wraiths will become thieves, pirates, impostors, forgers . . . and targets, as they put their guts, their guns, and their riskiest game plan to the test!

Smiling Face with Heart-Eyes“The final book in the X-Wing series, and it's a Wraith Squadron furball featuring a multi-generational cast and at least one cameo... As with Starfighters of Adumar I'd put this off, but I'm very glad I finally read it. A handful of nods to the earlier trilogies aside this novel actually tackles one of the plot threads begun in the Abeloth story arc and does so in a rather fun - and surprisingly emotional - manner.”
“Yeah, wow. I just was revisiting the entire X-Wing series (including I, Jedi) and then got to this for the first time actually. I did this all over two weeks so there's alot of recency bias and nostalgia for revisiting some of these characters, but I loved this. I knew it was going to be very different just from how far up in the timeline it takes place in from the other novels (but it was also forever in real life since you were last with the wraiths anyways) but was pleasantly surprised with who ended up in it. This is way farther ahead in the timeline than I had read before, I only got to the end of the civil war with Jacen. Really neat character to have as the main viewpoint for the novel. Loved it. Good returning characters, good new characters. Myri throws me. Is she in other novels? Someone who's characterization I want to see more of.”
