“I listened to the audiobook of this because I just miss Anthony Bourdain so much. I think if you really want to experience his books, listen to the audiobooks. There’s something so special about absorbing these stories by listening to him tell them himself. He was such a gem. A true hater, but a lover of what really mattered. This book was spectacular even if just for the entire chapter where he shits on Alice Waters, he was so fucking real and valid for that. We’re so lucky to have had him for as long as we did, but I wish he could’ve lived forever (even though I’m sure he would’ve hated the idea of being immortal). I hope wherever he is, he knows that he is so fucking missed every day.”About Anthony Bourdain
