“Great story. Really appreciated the way she wrote about the impact of hearing impairments/deafness on daily living. “A decent read. The first few chapters were great, but that was about it. It felt almost too predictable and not much character development, especially with the female protagonist. She cried in almost every chapter, felt sorry for herself, but didn’t do anything to better the situation or her morals. The male protagonist was even worse. I love romance books just as much as the next person, but it felt like it was normalizing adultery and hypocrisy.”RomanticDescriptiveHeartbreaking
