Opposites attract...
When Beth is not avoiding food, she's flirting with Bodey and avoiding her past.
Bodey's masculinity and his down home easy care appeals to her but she has her own well of secrets that eventually catches up with her.
Maverick is actually a fairly good read however I didn't quite mesh with Beth as a person. It caused a little rift that I preferred to skip through at certain points just from how much it annoyed me. I still liked the emotional journey which made it all worth while.

I'm obsessed with the Taggart brothers now! I need to pick up the first two books and devour them. I loved MAVERICK! It's the third book in Lisa Bingham's Taggart Brothers Series and can be read as a standalone. I didn't read the first two books but I will be reading them next. The story takes place at an old western reenactment event where people dress up and compete in cowboy competitions. It was so much fun. I loved the storyline, the characters and the author's writing style. There's danger and romance with some fun mixed in. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back and read the first two books.
