“from beginning to end i was in complete confusion
i have no idea what the author was trying to say with this one
the message is lost on me
i think they were trying to write about a strong female character that could be inspirational
but marie honestly just seems like an arrogant, selfish woman
she sent away a girl that was so well loved by the other nuns because she got jealous of her
she constantly ignores the other nuns and only listens to herself
and she believes she’s equal to other saints
i don’t know if she was written to be loved but all i felt for her was annoyance
nothing special to be honest
