“Another cute story from Marta Perry. This one involves the running of the Amish Inn, a bed and breakfast in Lost Creek. Molly has been working there for awhile and has become integral, especially since owner Leah had an accident. When Leah's nephew Aaron moves in with his daughter, changes are sure to come. I really enjoy how Perry writes Amish characters, although I felt the ending on this one was a little rushed.
I received an advance reader copy of this title from the publisher.”
“A great Amish romance. A widower helps out his injured aunt in her inn. She passes on the responsibility permanently. He struggles a bit with the current staff but starts to find his way as well as a connection.”
“ALC for Net Galley and Harlequin Audio
This was a very sweet story of love and loss. Loss of a potential marriage and a tragic loss of a beloved spouse. Aaron comes to take over the Amish Inn from his elderly aunt and start a new life for him and his daughter. Molly has been running the inn with Leah since being stood up by Will at the altar.
Aaron and Molly began to see that Leah had hopes of making a match between the two of them. Aaron believes he will never marry or love again. Molly wants to continue seeking her independence. That is until Aaron realizes how great Molly is with his daughter and how much she needs another positive influence in her life.
Narrated by Maayan Voss - very enjoyable listen
NOTE: This is not normally a book I would choose... I am not sure how I ended up with an advance copy. It was surprisingly sweet.”
