“So this is the first book in this series that I read but it is more for smut than actual plot. I picked this book up as a light read after reading a grief heavy book so it did the job. You have Trish and Cameron, total opposites she’s sunshine and he’s grumpy, he’s the boss and she’s the temporary employee who is also the little sister of his business partner and best friend. They have instant attraction for each other and don’t hesitate to show it from the first day, he knows it’s wrong and it shouldn’t happen again but he can’t stop himself and she’s willing to make the first move but also knows she shouldn’t he’s not in her plan. She has insecure issues and wants to stick to her plan in order to be someone. They start a relationship that he wants to be real but she hesitates at every conversation that goes beyond the now, but she gets the job offer of her dreams their relationship is thrown into turmoil. It ends up being a HEA but honestly Trish did the most. I understand going after your dreams and he didn’t stand in her way he was willing to do anything to make it work but she couldn’t see how they could work it out even when he tried and then her and her brother put it all on Cameron to fix like common it goes both ways. I rolled my eyes I felt like Cameron tried multiple times and it was on Trish to fix it but whatever like I said it was an easy read.”
