“After reading Maud Ventura’s novel - “My Husband” I highly anticipated reading her newly released book - “Make Me Famous”. Although “My Husband” is one of the most memorable and unique books I’ve ever read… this one fell flat. The main character was insufferable and entitled. Although she clearly suffered from an undiagnosed mental illness… the way she treated others could not be justified. She was abusive, overbearing, and a tyrant towards her personal assistant and romantic partners. Although I enjoyed Maud Ventura’s style of writing and the first-person pov… the plot wasn’t relatable or to my liking.”
