Magician's End

By Raymond E. Feist
Magician's End by Raymond E. Feist digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

Three decades . . . Five Riftwars . . . One magnificent saga: From New York Times bestselling author Raymond E. Feist comes Magician's End, the final book in the epic Riftwar Cycle.

Thirty years ago, Feist's first novel, Magician, introduced us to an orphan boy named Pug, who rises from slavery to become a Master Magician, and to Midkemia and the Riftwar, an epic series of battles between Good and Evil that have scarred Pug's world for generations.

After twenty-nine books, Feist delivers the crowning achievement of his renowned bestselling career: Magician's End, the final chapter in The Chaos Wars, the climax of his extraordinary Riftwar Cycle.

Pug, now the greatest magician of all time, must risk everything he has fought for and everything he cherishes in the hope of destroying an evil enemy once and for all. But to achieve peace and save untold millions of lives, he will have to pay the ultimate price.

“I’m not sure if it’s nostalgia or what but I swear I was so emotional finishing this book it was ridiculous. So much of this book had call backs and echo’s of Magician, the full circle nature of the story was just perfect.”
“fucking hell literally ending with a bang”
“Twenty-five years ago, during the summer of 1988, I began my journey in Midkemia. It was the summer between my freshman and sophomore year in college when I met my old friends: Pug/Milamber, Tomas, Arutha, Lyam, Martin, Kulgan, Meecham, Macros, Fantus, etc. Was this book everything I wanted? Of course not! Having said that, it is a satisfying end. It brought back friends we have not seen in years. I enjoyed the guests from the past: Kulgan, Borric, Macros, etc. As this was an ending, there were scenes that really hit me. The parting scene between Pug and Tomas had tears streaming down my face, knowing what the prophecy ordained. The final scene between Magnus and his father was touching as well. All in all, this was the best book we have received from Feist in years. I have enjoyed this 25 year journey and am sorry to leave it behind.”
