“Very well adaptation of the original and set in modern times. But one can still follow the original plot. I also like how the witches still seem to have some sort of folklore about them.”

“I picked this up because I taught the Scottish play for years. I had trouble getting into it at first because gritty crime dramas aren't really my thing, and some of the attempts to match the retelling to the play struck me as odd. But as the story developed and the backstories for the major characters emerged, I was really taken in. The final moments were action packed and different enough that I was truly wondering what would happen, even though I know the play so well.”
