“Allie returns to her Texas hometown for a restart. She is burned out working in the children's protection services and plans to become a teacher instead. Her best friend is widowed and needs a nanny but Allie has not forgiven him for something that happened in high school. Reluctantly, she decides that helping out could be good for her while she is in transition.
This is a Christian romance and I got this paperback book from a library sale to read at the beach. It was fun to read because of the variety in the plot.”
“I have enjoyed the Hope Crossing series but this is without a doubt my favorite of the series. From a most adorable cover which perfectly complements the story, to the fantastic storyline, this book has all the things I love in a good story. A second chance romance, cute kiddos and several surprises that kept me enthralled with this book. Really loved this one!

“Loving the Rancher’s Children is the third book in the Hope Crossing Novel series by Mindy Obenhaus. While it's part of a series, it can be read alone. However, I highly recommend you grab the first two books.
I really enjoyed Alli and Jake's story. The cast of characters are realistic and well developed. I especially loved the addition of Jake's children, Maddy and Connor. This was a sweet read and the faith element was displayed perfectly. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
