“Tbh I had high hopes in wanting to have a good time and enjoy this book but it turned out kinda underwhelming. I don't really like the settings and I don't feel connected to the characters as much as the Dreamland series. I love thick books but this book had no reasons to be this long. I was dragging myself to finish this and the best part is literally the ending (Meeting with the Kanes). The whole plot was a little too simple and just boring but I think ill enjoy the next book more because I find myself more intrigued when Rafa and Ellie are mentioned.”Sofia Bonnevier

“DNF @ 46%. I hate mean reviews, but this one really wasn’t for me. I felt like the pacing was weird and the characters backstories/personalities were so underdeveloped. I was honestly so bored and disappointed, and I hated feeling that way because I typically enjoy Asher’s writing…”
