“a cute little novella collection!!”
Beaming Face with Smiling Eyes“This was a cute little collection of stories. I definitely am going to add Denise to my autobuy list, because man she not only knows how write a really good spicy love scene, but also just really sweet romantic connections. Below are my rankings of each story. These were all good, but the last story was my favorite of all. The Sweetest Connection: 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Wooo baby whoever said friends to lovers was boring, is so wrong! It’s so wild, because I didn’t expect it to be my favorite, but Teagan and Silas were my favorite couple in this collection. They just had the sweetest yet hottest chemistry together. I also loved the epilogue that wasn’t about them but someone else in the story :) The Missed Connection: 4.5/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 /5 Gia and Felix were a fun pairing. I liked that he wasn’t just being a jerk about his critiques, he was simply trying to challenge her because thought she was intelligent. I also really loved how he was constantly sticking up for her and not standing for their bosses sexist oppinions on her. We love a man that sticks up for his girl before he’s even with her. It was definitely a grumpy sunshine and I do enjoy those. I found this one to be a bit more believable. The Love Connection: 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Ollie and Bennett were cute, but this one was a little bit harder to believe. I think this might have been better off as fully fleshed story. I still enjoyed it and the dog. I thought their banter was fun, and I also think Ollie was my favorite fmc in the series. I also really enoyed the friendship of of Jess and Ollie, and Bennett and Gia. It was still a really cute read. Like I said I will definitely be picking up more of this authors books.”

About Denise Williams

Denise Williams wrote her first book in the second grade. I Hate You and its sequel, I Still Hate You, featured a tough, funny heroine; a quirky hero; witty banter; and a dragon. Minus the dragons, these are still the books she likes to write. After penning those early works, she finished second grade and eventually earned a PhD in education, going on to work in higher education. After growing up around the world and across the country as a military brat, Denise now lives in Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband, son, and two ornery shih tzus who think they own the house.
