“This book was hard to read but harder to put down. I love the juxtaposition of the main characters story’s from his eyes as an old man and a young child. Please check trigger warnings if you decide to read this there is an infant death scene in the beginning that almost made me dnf, but I’m actually very glad I persisted.”
