Losing Neverland

By Evelyn Montgomery
Losing Neverland by Evelyn Montgomery digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

All is not as it seems in Neverland.
As for Peter & Hook...
I know the secret most don't.

The real truth behind the myth.
The hidden wonder you've never known
disguised as the notorious legend.

I know the nightmare
that brings Hook to his knees.
The inescapable reality
Peter Pan one day couldn't fly away from.

All you've ever been told is a lie.
A hoax.
A pixie trick.

I know the truth because...
I'm their ruin.
I'm their demise.
I'm the end of what was &
the beginning of what's to come.

My name is Wendy Moira Angela Darling,
& I'm the reason for losing Neverland.

Losing Neverland Reviews

“I really struggled to get through Losing Neverland, and if I hadn't been listening to the audiobook, I almost certainly would have DNF'd it. The execution fell flat in a lot of ways, starting with the heavy reliance on multi-chapter flashbacks. If a book requires that much prolonged backstory just to function, the core story isn't being told effectively. On top of that, I was left scratching my head over the dynamic with the women in Neverland. Why is everyone so desperately vying for Peter Pan, and who is driving the anti-Wendy hate train? While we get a brief glimpse into their traumatic pasts, it wasn't enough to balance out the extreme darkness of the story or justify the character motivations. The overarching plot felt predictable and boring, almost as if random, explicit sex scenes were dropped in just to keep the reader's interest long enough to reach the next chapter. I’d only recommend this to brand-new readers or anyone who reads strictly for high-spice smut without needing a strong, engaging plot line. Despite this being part of a series, I definitely won't be continuing. Spice: 4 / 5 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Audiobook: 4.5 ⭐”
“I love a Perer Pan retelling and this one didn't disappoint! The storyline was sweet and bitter all at the same time. I definitely enjoyed the twist in the plot! Narrators did such a good job with this one I finished it in one sitting! It does help that these 2 happen to be some of my favorites!”
“Listen on audio for sure !!”
