“Following the death of his brother and his father in a horrific plane crash, Cain returns home to take his rightful place within the family business.
As well has the feelings surrounding the loss, he also comes face to face with his new business partner, sister in law and ex girlfriend Alexa. Alexa is harbouring a secret from her ex following his disappearance some seven years ago. She is grieving the loss of their baby, a baby Cain knew nothing about.
As the pairs working relationship intensifies so does their personal one and readers follow an emotional rollercoaster. There is anger, hate, grief, lust, love and happiness.
I absolutely loved this book and it kept me turning pages as have all of the other books of Rachael's I have read. Another amazing 5⭐

“Losing Control is definitely darker than I anticipated, which was not a bad thing at all. I really loved the characters. Rachael Stewart has a knack for creating deep, emotional characters, with indepth backgrounds that make them relatable.
This story is very well-written, and I found it difficult to set down. The pacing was excellent and I was never bored. There were a few plot points that were a bit harder to believe, but overall, I really enjoyed the plot.
Emotional, satisfying, and entertaining. Losing Control is an excellent novel and I definitely recommend it.

“No messing around from me this is an EASY 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ review! One which I wish I could give more because simply it’s now a favourite of mine! I love going in to a book having no idea what it’s going to be like and then finding a favourite! I’m soooo excited!
Now this is the story of a couple who like so many find themselves broken apart by a huge row! One couldn’t cope and left, and the other stayed behind trying to mend a broken heart!
Years later after a dreadful event, they find themselves back in close contact! The passion is undeniable, but there is so much hurt, pain, distrust and many secrets between them! Can they find a common ground, can they fight the undeniable connection between them ?
This has to be one of the BEST romance novels I have ever read! Now a lot of people refuse to read or ‘don’t like’ to read erotica, some people won’t admit to reading it! But why? That type of passion is NORMAL in EVERY relationship! It’s a normal human experience! Now for me these passionate moments in the book just made it for me! It put it above SOOO many others that I have read because it’s REAL, it’s NATURAL, it’s EXCITING!
Now there are only a few of these moments in the book, and they are not vulgar, not too much or too often! It was however, PASSIONATE, and sooo REALISTIC! It made Cain and Alexas story all the more believable which just made me totally invested! We have all been there, experienced that raw passion so why not sit back and read it!
I absolutely LOVED both Cain and Alexa! Both characters carry so much baggage, love, pain, hard memories, blame, guilt and heart ache! Both are incredibly hard working and career driven! Cain tried to protect himself and his feelings, and Alexa is so scared to bring up the past, they have some heated rows and heated rows lead to heated passion!
Their connection from the beginning was UNDENIABLE! And I found myself routing for them the whole time! I felt both of their pain, both of their guilt and both of their need and want for the other! Both such likeable characters!
It’s not only full of passion and romance but also has some really tough hitting subjects! Loss being one of them! SOOO much loss! Some may find those bits hard to read as it’s just so heart wrenching but it just adds to the story perfectly!
There is not one single thing I disliked about this book! Passionate, heart breaking, thrilling and it’s so so easy to read and to get in to! I definitely would recommend this to everyone! Added to my favourites and MUST read more from this INCREDIBLE AUTHOR!”
