Lora Ley - Book Three - The Swan Maidens
ByPublisher Description
When the Sun doesn't rise one day, Lora and her friends must help an inept Prince rescue the Swan Maidens from a cruel sorceress at the Enchanted Castle.
"Lora Ley - Book Three - The Swan Maidens" is a rollicking read full of action, danger, humor and paranormal fairy tale enchantment. The story moves between Victorian Era Germany and cross-dimensional worlds.
When Crown Prince Crispin and his entourage crash into Lora and Wolf's demesnes, our heroes are drawn into a mystery of disastrous proportions. Aided by ancient German goddesses Holle and Perchta, and a bevy of solar spirits, they visit the demesnes of the Sun, travel to the town of witches and enter the Realm of the Undead.
At the same time, Jack, the layabout nephew of the Sorceress Elisabet, plans to throw a big birthday ball at the Enchanted Castle. With two witches, an Animal Shaman, a mortal police inspector and a violet orb name Orbit, Wolf and Lora have to get the Prince to the party or the swans will meet a terrible fate. But now, Crispin has discovered Wild West culture, and becomes obsessed with cowboys. Back in his own realm, trouble brews as the Chief Advisor plots with an Assassin and a Fool.
Elisabet labors under her own grindstone, as she's in love with a hideous Beast, who was once a handsome Prince. Bewitched by her father, a Sorcerer, he remains in meaningless luxury in a realm of magic. They meet through Elisabet's Divination Pool ... but every time, the curse takes a grim toll.
As midnight approaches, a mini-Western plays out in the Great Hall of the Enchanted Castle when the bad guys capture the wrong Swans. Meanwhile, battle heats up in Elisabet's Spell Room. Can Lora, Wolf and friends help the Prince, free the captive maidens, and prevail over the evil of eternal darkness?
