“Após tantos anos inserido nesse maravilhoso universo da literatura, se tinha um autor que jamais imaginei consumir algo, seria John Green.
Mas, em algumas listas de "best coming of age books" que eu procurei por ai, esse livro apareceu bastante. Pesquisei sobre, me interessei e fui atrás. E gostei, gostei muito.
Acredito que temos uma fórmula aqui, onde o jovem protagonista tem uma drástica mudança em sua vida buscando a tão sonhada resposta definitiva sobre qual caminho seguir e, durante esse período, conhece novos amigos interessantes, entra em alguns conflitos, relembra o passado e, claro, conhece uma pessoa totalmente diferente de tudo que ele já viu e que instantaneamente ganha seu coração. O que com certeza não torna o livro ruim.
Ele é muito bem escrito, flui de forma simples, entrega personagens relacionáveis e te faz se importar com os momentos e até mesmo as tragédias.
Novamente, o Lucas do passado jamais afirmaria que o Lucas de 2025 estaria lendo um livro desse gênero. E outro ponto que ele jamais admitiria: que o Lucas de 2025 colocou A Culpa é das Estrelas na wishlist pra ler no futuro. O mundo dá voltas. Ainda bem.”
