Why read on Fable?
Publisher Description
It's not fair! All Little Owl wants is to go to bed at a reasonable hour, like his friends do. But no . . . Mama and Papa say little owls have to stay up late and play. So Little Owl spends all night jumping on his bed, playing on the jungle gym, and doing tricks on his skateboard but he's hooting mad about it! Children who have a hard time going to bed will love this fun twist on the universal dilemma.

“This is an adorable children's book with delightful illustrations.
Often parents have trouble getting their children to bed and meet all sorts of complaints and compromises for a peaceful life - well the owls in this book have similar issues only with the opposite. Little Hoot doesn't want to stay up late like other owls.
It is such a sweet story and is so short. I wish there was more but it does get the point across. It doesn't preach exactly, as Hoot learns nothing in the story, but I suppose it shows children that there are kids who want to sleep and to encourage them to go to bed and appreciate their bedtime. It is very subtle in that message though.”
