Comencé a trabajar a la edad de 16. Más tarde completé un Diplomado de Enseñanza
(DIP T) en ciencia para convertirme en maestra de preparatoria. Después de pocos años en la
enseñanza adquirí una Licenciatura en Educación (BEd) con especialidad en Asesoramiento y
Educación Religiosa. Durante mis 20 años o más como maestra, mis estudiantes frecuentemente
me pedían consejos financieros. Después de pasar la mayor parte de mi carrera como maestra
decidí estudiar un Diploma y un Diploma avanzado en planificación financiera. Trabajé como
asesora financiera para tres diferentes compañías, pero en cada caso decidí renunciar porque
consideré que su ética y procedimientos eran contenciosos. Eso hizo que decidiera retirarme
pronto, porque podía costearlo. Ahora hago sólo lo que disfruto, lo que muchas veces involucra a
mis nietos y pasar el tiempo con la familia. ¡La vida es fabulosa!
