“This brought me back to the vibes of the second book in the series- “Flight.” I loved this story, the plot and the characters. Nicole is a character that has made appearances in books 2-4 so I have been waiting for her story. There was a perfect balance of thrill, slow burn/yearning, and finally the romance. Nicole and Emmet are🔥🥰🥲 Their friendship into romantic relationship felt natural and made me feel giddy. I will say if you didn’t read other books in the series, I can see how some readers may feel the lack of connection or didn’t feel like the romance was built up enough. Trust me when I say it’s apparent in the other 3 books before!
I went into this book with low expectations due to my experiences with the last two book. The reviews for this one also didn’t seem overall positive. With that being said, reading is subjective and you shouldn’t go off of other’s opinions.”
