About Ellen Datlow

was editor of Sci Fiction, the multi award- winning fiction area of scifi.com, for almost six years. Previously, she was fiction editor of for over seventeen years. She has won the World Fantasy Award seven times, two Bram Stoker Awards, the International Horror Guild Award, the 2002 and 2005 Hugo Award, and the 2005 Locus Award, for her work as an editor. Sci Fiction won the 2005 Hugo Award for Best Website. Datlow and Windling are the co-editors of over eleven original anthologies and of seventeen volumes of .

Ruth Rendell

Edgar Award–winning author Ruth Rendell (b. 1930) has written more than seventy books and sold more than twenty million copies worldwide. A fellow of the Royal Society of Literature (London), she is the recipient of the Grand Master Award from the Mystery Writers of America and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Crime Writers’ Association. Rendell’s award-winning novels include (1976), (1987), and (1991). Her popular crime stories featuring Chief Inspector Reginald Wexford were adapted into a long-running British television series (1987–2000) starring George Baker.

Michael Swanwick

Michael Swanwick has received the Hugo, Nebula, World Fantasy, and Theodore Sturgeon awards for his work. His short fiction has appeared in , , , , and numerous other publications, and many pieces have been reprinted in best-of-the-year anthologies. He has written nine novels, among them , , the New York Times Notable Book , , and, most recently, . Swanwick lives in Philadelphia with his wife, Marianne Porter, and their son, Sean.

Michael Cadnum

Michael Cadnum is the author of 35 books for adults and young adults. His work—which includes thrillers, suspense novels, historical fiction, and books about myths and legends—has been nominated for the National Book Award ( ), the Edgar Award ( and  ), and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize ( ). A former National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Fellow, he is also the author of award-winning poetry.   (2012) is his most recent novel.   Michael Cadnum lives in Albany, California, with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Douglas Clegg

Douglas Clegg is a screenwriter, poet, and the author of dozens of novels, novellas, and short story collections. His fiction has won the Bram Stoker Award and the International Horror Guild Award. He is married to Raul Silva and lives near the New England coast, where he is currently writing his next work of fiction.
