La Troisième coïncidence

Romancière frustrée, Mattie travaille pour la succession d'Agatha Christie à New York. Lorsqu'un homme mystérieux et séduisant apparaît régulièrement dans son quartier, elle se souvient d'une maxime du célèbre détective de fiction créé par Christie, Poirot : la première coïncidence n'est qu'une coïncidence, la deuxième est un indice, la troisième est une preuve. Mais une preuve de quoi, exactement ? Lorsque Mattie découvre des croquis qui semblent indiquer que l'inconnu prépare un attentat à la bombe, elle alerte le FBI et déclenche une véritable catastrophe.

A frustrated novelist, Mattie works for the Estate of Agatha Christie in New York. When a mysterious, handsome man keeps turning up in her neighborhood, she's reminded of saying of Christie's famed fictional detective: the first coincidence is just that, the second is a clue, the third is proof. But proof of what exactly? When Mattie finds some doodles that seem to indicate the stranger is plotting a bombing, she alerts the FBI and creates her own disaster.
