King of Sloth (Kings of Sin, #4)
ByPublisher Description
He'd never wanted anyone enough to chase them... until he met her. He'd never wanted anyone enough to chase them... until he met her.
Charming, easygoing, and rich beyond belief, Xavier Castillo has the world at his fingertips.
He also has no interest in taking over his family's empire (much to his father's chagrin), but that hasn't stopped women from throwing themselves at him... unless the woman in question is his publicist.
Nothing brings him more joy than riling her up, but when a tragedy forces them closer than ever, he must grapple with the uncertainty of his future―and the realization that the only person immune to his charms is the only one he truly wants.
***
Cool, intelligent, and ambitious, Sloane Kensington is a high-powered publicist who's used to dealing with difficult clients.
However, none infuriate―or tempt―her more than a certain billionaire heir, with his stupid dimples and laid-back attitude.
She may be forced to work with him, but she'll never fall for him...no matter how fast he makes her heart beat or how thoughtful he is beneath his party persona.
He's her client, and that's all he'll ever be. Right?

“I really enjoyed reading King of Sloth. It's a cliché that's well done, where the atmosphere and closeness wrap up the story more and give you the chance to experience what's being told. Thanks, Huang, for giving me the opportunity to connect, laugh, be grateful, and enjoy a read that made me feel everything. With each book, I liked her writing style more and more.
Now, King of Sloth has two main characters we saw as supporting ones in the previous books: Sloane, one of the best PP.RR professionals in New York, with clients that anyone would want and who basically runs the show at work; and Xavier, one of Sloane's most difficult clients, heir to a huge fortune from a Latin beer company based in Bogotá, and a total party guy who can't stop. They couldn't be more opposite: while Xavier gets on the beautiful publicist's nerves, she can't stand him because of the headaches he gives her always having to get him out of parties and drama that end up on New York's hottest gossip blogs. What she doesn't realize is that, because of her daddy issues, those same issues will bring them together like never before, and she'll start wondering if romantic movie clichés can actually be real even though she's already feeling butterflies every time Xavier comes close.
After a short trip that turns into chaos, they start getting closer. With both their problems, each other's company becomes a safe place. Anyway, the sex and physical connection they feel is passionate and romantic, but to make it short, when they both drop their walls and go with the butterflies they feel for each other, it's totally Netflix movie stuff.
I really enjoyed this novel; it gave me a break from all the December craziness between studying and work, helped me think that opposites attract, that the sex is way better and more detailed, that clichés can happen, and that it's always better to deal with problems when you have someone with you.”
