“A guide on the “Katmere Academy” universe characters (with a couple of Easter eggs 👀), deleted scenes, and a short “True North” novella from Hudson’s POV.
My favourite bits: ALLLL the text messages!! Gosh, seeing characters’ sense of humour actually adds another layer to them, and I’m so happy to see Grace and Macy indulge in dark humour as well as The Order making fun of Jaxon. (Without these texts, I’d have completely read Macy as a full-on sunshine girl, or The Order as ultimately serious guys who live and breathe by Jaxon’s word.)
The rest of bios? Ehhh, I guess that was fine — not really necessary but you could spot a couple of hints for the next ships. We’ll see!
I loved the deleted scenes. Tracy Wolff stood out to me as a great ensemble cast writer, and “deleteds” were all about the group moments and centred on characters that come across as “supporting” in the novels. I wish they were in the main novels.
A “True North” novella was EXACTLY what I was missing in the beginning of “Covet” as it touches upon the first moments between Hudson and Grace after the “mate” news. Also, it was like a missing puzzle piece for the Hudson x Macy duo because now?? I get it 🥹”_paupaauuu
