Kat, Incorrigible by Stephanie Burgis digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

In nineteenth-century England, twelve-year-old Kat Stephenson knows she was born to be a magical Guardian and protector of Society—if she can find true acceptance in the secret order that expelled her mother. She’s ready to upend the rigid Order of the Guardians, whether the older members like it or not. And in a Society where magic is the greatest scandal of all, Kat is determined to use her powers to help her two older sisters find their own true loves, even if she has to turn highwayman, battle wild magic, and confront real ghosts along the way! History seamlessly merges with fantasy in this humorous and lively novel.

Langsung saja saya masukin ke kantong wishlist, saya memang tipe pembaca yang "judge book by its cover". Seperti apa kisah Kat selanjutnya?”
“A sweet and whimsical historical fantasy that suits any age reader. I will be purchasing extra copies to send to my niblings and adding space in the B section of my own bookshelves The love that Burgis has for the regency era setting, and the joy that comes out in her writing is infectious.”
“It's so fun to reread a book you liked as a kid and see that it still holds up 10 years later. I love the narration, the characters, the family relationships, everything. Engagingly written and clever.”
“Almost like a Pride and Prejudice for younger girls, with the added bonus of magic. Very cute!”
