Q: Do I have to buy the ebook to participate in a book club?

No, you don’t have to buy the ebook to participate, but we do recommend it to get the most out of your club. There are several premium social reading features that are only available when you buy the ebook, like annotations, reactions, comment threads, resources, discussion prompts, and more, all embedded right in the text. It’s a unique and immersive way to read.

Q: Why can’t I buy the ebook on the app?

It’s annoying, we know. App store rules prevent us from selling directly in the app, so for now you can only purchase ebooks on our website. Don’t worry: when you purchase an ebook on the web, it’s automatically added to your bookshelf in the app.

Q: How is Fable’s reader different from Kindle?

Kindle is a straightforward e-reader; Fable is an interactive e-reader that includes social features inside the ebooks. “I absolutely loved this story! I had read that book that came before it, so I was introduced to these characters there. But this story finally closes up the mystery and most of all I get that HEA I have been waiting for. I loved this story, the suspense and the mystery/action were perfectly balanced. And the romance and chemistry between the two main characters was spot on, I believed it, I felt their draw to each other, and I wanted them to end up together. It was very much a second chance romance since they missed their chance the first time. But also a best friends to lovers trope, as they truly were the closest to each other, and that is where their love grew! In this story police constable Izzy has been investigating her fathers murder, even though everyone keeps telling her it was a heart attack. It is when she is investigating that she gets too close to the truth putting her as the next target for the killer. Because her life is at risk, she is wisked off to her ex-partners ranch where she can be protected and safe. He was her best friend, and a man she loved, but an accident over a decade ago ripped apart their partnership, their hearts, and possible future. But now, Austin is back and with his trained K9s he is going to do everything in his power to protect Izzy. He loves her, he always has, but after that accident they fell apart, and she blamed him... so they lost their way. Having her close by again is bringing up all the feelings, but can they have a future? Neither of them ever expressed their feelings. And in the midst of everything that is happening Izzy's life is at risk,and it seems her gut feeling that someone killed her father, may in fact be true! This story had the perfect balance of romance and suspense. When you finish reading it, don't miss the author's note and the background behind Harturn River. I am SO curious if Blaire, Austin and/or Sawyer will one day get their own story!”
