“I liked the story, mostly for the detective work and procedure, which a few times were not followed so, seems realistic.
I did not like how these two MCs his their feelings for each other. For some reason, even though I understood the risks and reasons behind them, I just didn't care for it when everyone else around them could clearly see their attraction for each other. It just seemed like that lasted a bit too long for me.
The one guy denying everything he did wrong I could clearly accept his character, as I've seen that plenty of times!
I enjoyed the fact that the setting was in Kansas City, not sure (or I forgot!) if it's Missouri or Kansas. Could have been parts of both.”
