“A heartbreaker with just the right blend of angst and temptation. Just a Little Jilted brings deep emotion to the table. Soren and Eliot are a work in progress that refuses to back down from a challenge. From sweet seduction to deep regret, Wood paints a vivid picture of the soul.”

I loved Soren and Eliot’s romance and personal evolution throughout the story. Together, they can be who they really are without feeling threatened, although this terrifies them both. Not to mention their amazing chemistry. I have to admit that their reunion at the beginning was a bit forced—or that was how I felt it. Maybe a prologue with some details about their affair years ago would be needed here?—but what they have is undeniable.
I like Ms. Wood’s writing style. She mixes romance, secrets, intriguing plots and emotion to her stories, making them believable and alluring. Also, she makes you want more when you finish one of her books. This author knows how to push your buttons without being melodramatic. I want to know what will happen next in Dynasties: Calcott Manor series. If this book is a sample of what Ms. Wood will bring to us in the future, I have to say this series is a promising one.
