“love love LOVE the concept of this book but the one flaw has to be the monologues of statistical BS Dr Malcolm dribbles every few chapters. we get it buddy, statistics proved the Park was doomed! 😡
Dr Grant has my 🩷 as always but tbh I wish they'd kept the Tim and Lex ages and dynamic of the 3 of them the same in the movie as the book! Tim was actually useful in the book and Lex, while still annoying, was quite a fun character to follow!!
Even seeing the movies on repeat, the plot of this book differs at some pretty intense moments and I was definitely gripping the pages and holding my breath in some parts with the characters 😅.
Overall the book is still only a 3.5 ⭐️ for the pure fact that everytime I thought I was close to the end another chapter appeared. The main group dramas/climax of the entire plot took so long to get to that I just wanted to read that last page and mark the book as complete by the time I got to it. Overall it's still a great book I'd recommend to anyone and everyone! 🦖🦕💕”
“Familiar and yet different enough to still be entertaining. A bit darker than the movie and definitely more suspenseful.”
