“Not my taste. While I did learn a lot about Judy Blume, I didn’t necessarily love what I learned. She and I do not share the same values and it’s no wonder I’d never heard of some of her more “adult themed” books. But she certainly had led an interesting life thus far. I wish her and the author all the best but I won’t be picking up another of their books.”

Mark Oppenheimer is the author of four critically acclaimed books, including Squirrel Hill, Wisenheimer, and Thirteen and a Day. He has taught at NYU, Stanford, Yale, and Washington University in St. Louis, where he is Professor of Practice. Mark lives with his family in New Haven, Connecticut.
