By Charlotte Brontë
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë digital book - Fable

Publisher Description

A novel of intense power and intrigue, Jane Eyre has dazzled generations of readers with its depiction of a woman's quest for freedom.
Jane Eyre follows the emotions and experiences of its title character, including her growth to adulthood, and her love for Mr. Rochester, the byronic master of fictitious Thornfield Hall. In its internalisation of the action — the focus is on the gradual unfolding of Jane's moral and spiritual sensibility and all the events are coloured by a heightened intensity that was previously the domain of poetry — Jane Eyre revolutionised the art of fiction.
Explore Charlotte Bronte's world full of shocking secrets, captivating characters, and dark romance.

“I loved Jane Eyre. I found myself able to connect with her character, and sympathize with everything she went through. I love how she was strong and held on to her values, and yet was kind. The writing was very wordy, but beautiful. A perfect and satisfying ending for her!”
“I enjoy reading about flawed and complicated characters, so I liked this book. That said, do I actually like any of the characters or agree with their choices? Not exactly. I can understand where they’re coming from, but that doesn’t excuse their actions. Jane was wonderful in many ways, but I still feel sorry for her and the decisions she made. This book also reminded me how little men have changed in nearly 200 years. I’d love to say I’m surprised, but really, I’m just disappointed.”
