“If I could give this book zero stars I would. I’m a big fan of dystopian novels. I loved 1984 when I read it in high school and have re-read it as an adult. I was not a fan of brave new world, but managed to read it through. This book though- I have Ben trying to read it for three weeks and not only does it give me no interest to continue to read but in that three weeks time where I would have been able to read at least 5 other books I was only able to make it through 28%.
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, this for sure is a 0/10 recommend from me. Sorry.”

About Howard Jacobson
An author of fiction and non-fiction, Jacobson's previous novels include Man Booker-winner The Finkler Question, Zoo Time, and Kalooki Nights. Hogarth will also publish his forthcoming retelling of The Merchant of Venice as part of the Hogarth Shakespeare series. Jacobson is a columnist for The Independent and has worked as a professor and in television and radio broadcasting.
