It's Not Her Reviews

Surprised Face with Open Mouth“I am SHOOK!”
“It’s Not Her from Mary Kubica comes out in February of next year and I was able to immerse myself in this story with the ARC and ALC. Two families are vacationing together at a local lake, there’s swimming, fishing and games. Courtney is out with her husband and daughter while next door we have Courtney’s brother, his wife and three kids. Amongst all the fun and games lies someone in the shadows, and one fateful morning, not everyone will wake up to enjoy the beautiful morning. Courtney must deal with the death of brother and sister in law but also try to figure out what happened to one of their missing children. With chaos, fear and sadness, Courtney desperately tries to make sense of everything but also decide who is telling her the truth. I’m not about to spoil the fun and give away any details, because figuring things out is the best part in reading mysteries. The story is told through dual POVs in the present and also in the days leading up to that fateful night. Little by little the full story comes to fruition and along with Courtney we learn who we can trust. I questioned so many characters and choices and it was interesting seeing things unravel as the story progressed. This caught my attention from the beginning and kept me guessing until the very end. The audiobook is done so well by a cast of narrators. Jennifer Jill Araya, Brittany Pressley and Gary Tiedemann, ask did an amazing job in bringing these characters to life. Definitely recommend checking this out for a fun and fast paced thriller.”
