“A Good Heretic by Becky Chambers

We got a glimpse of dear Mas's story in book 1 of the Wayfarer series and this short story completes the narrative. I adored this short story and I truly think that Becky Chambers is one of the best writers for shorter fiction (but also their longer fiction is just as incredible). If you love the other books that BC has written, it's worth checking this anthology out from your local library (Libby for me) and reading this story.”

Overall this has Chamber’s typical narrative style which I enjoy and explores a story from within. The character is the focus, it is introspective and through my provoking. I know this is a short story, but I really do think it would have benefited from being a bit longer. As always, I will take any chance to step back into the Wayfarers’ world!”
