ByPublisher Description
It's just before New Year, and Frank, an overweight American tourist, has hired Kenji to take him on a guided tour of Tokyo's nightlife. But, Frank's behaviour is so odd that Kenji begins to entertain a horrible suspicion: his client may in fact have murderous desires. Although Kenji is far from innocent himself, he unwillingly descends with Frank into an inferno of evil, from which only his sixteen-year-old girlfriend, Jun, can possibly save him.

“I was just expecting this to be a horror/ thriller but I got slapped with psychological!!! You have to eat this book up slowly. ITS ALOT TO DIGEST TOWARDS THE END!
I knew that killers in general are “crazy” but the guy has issues. The main character ALSO HAS ISSUES. This book is a constantly monologue between the 2 ppl. Constantly battling themselves. There is a sense of acceptance and loathing for themselves. There’s a lot of reasons for why they do what they do but for me, I can’t get past the things that happened.
I don’t care for the back story of a killer when X amount of ppl get killed…. It’s so typical for “trauma” or “pleading insanity” to be a thing. But it helped me understand wtf was happening and why. I wasn’t expecting it. Both of the main characters suck. I like 2/3 of the book but after that ONE PART with the “soy sauce” it was harder to read. REGARDLESS I COULDNT PUT IT DOWN. I’ll have to reread the third part later…”
