In a German Pension Reviews

3.0
“According to her husband, Katherine Mansfield refused to have ‘In a German Pension’ republished until she has amassed enough of a body of work that it could be understood in context. Published when she was only 19 years old, these stories show flashes of the brilliance of her later works. Although not all are outstanding, I loved seeing where her career began and spotting details and techniques that recur in her greatest works. Still a massive Mansfield fan!”
