“To begin, this book was definitely too short for how the story was executed. The plot/main ideas had some potential, but we defenitely needed some more world and character building to help make certain events more consise. Many scenes felt rushed, which made other scenes feel like they were out of place. It both felt like there were so many elements forced together, and yet nothing was happening (not quite sure how to put that, sorry!)”

“Cute little story, but didn’t ultimately have much unique to offer. The writing made me cringe at times and the pacing felt weird. I wasn’t convinced of the chemistry between the characters either and forgot that other characters existed until they showed up at the end. There were some cozy moments, but I wish those were more thought out and descriptive. There was a lot here that could’ve been expanded upon that just fell flat for me. A just okay ‘prince falls for a commoner and lives happily ever after’ story.”

“I liked the story, but I felt something was missing in the execution of it. Super fun and easy to read!”
